What ACC does
ACC is New Zealand's state accident scheme. It pays part of the treatment after an accident, also for visitors and temporary workers, whether or not it happened at work.
What ACC doesn't do
Illness is not included. ACC also does not cover repatriation to the Netherlands, travel costs for family or your belongings. Those are exactly the costs that can run high.
Required for your visa
For a working holiday in New Zealand, full medical and travel insurance for your entire stay is required. You may be asked to show proof.
Adventure in your free time
